iPad and the A4 chip

By now you would have digested enough info about iPad from all the overflowing blogs and sites that are covering Apple's latest announcement. But do you know Apple's A4 chip is a ARM Cortex A9 with an ARM Mali GPU? Now i am curious about the 3G part and HSDPA given the BOM list of iPhone 3Gs. Are the original vendors already out of the window with the entry of PA Semi?
